Good value product, delivered very quickly. Would recommend

First class mushroom compost for use as mulch in the garden. (No foreign matter. Well composted. The right texture. No unpleasant smell.) Delivery announced before arrival by 'phone. Very competent driver / crane operator who took great care to do no damage to gates, wall, planting. I shall want more very soon. Many thanks.

The price tag with deliver is, at first glance, a little daunting - but the quality of the product and the speedy, helpful and efficient delivery more than makes up for it - and a review of the competition shows that the price is extremely competitive. I purchased two loads of mushroom compost - the first from another supplier, the second from Mone Bros. Nothing to choose between them on price or, in retrospect, product quality. The other supplier delivered the bulk bag on a broken pallet that had to be moved from the curtain truck on an inadequate pallet lift that barely made it to the allotment site gates - and the pallet had to be left outside the gates. The second delivery, by Mone Bros, came within three days of ordering. Delivered by a skilful HIAB driver who was able to drop the bulk bag over the allotment gates. The driver also gave me a 20 minute warning of delivery which gave me time to get up to the site to receive the delivery.
