garden trends to prepare for this winter

Here at Mone Bros DIY, we like to be prepared for whatever the world of landscape gardening has to offer, so much so that we are already getting prepared for 2019.

Here at Mone Bros DIY, we like to be prepared for whatever the world of landscape gardening has to offer, so much so that we are already getting prepared for next year. Now, we know but preparation is key.

To make sure that you’re just as ready as us, we thought we would share the top trends that will hit gardens across the UK this year. Not only are there new products to make your garden look better, but products are being launched to make gardening easier.

Pots, pots and more pots

Various kinds of pots have been coming in to tuition in shops and trades shows recently, and it’s easy to see why. There are retro pots, traditional pots, recyclable pots and so much more – there are so many options to choose from.

The recyclable pots in particular will be on show a lot more in 2019, with different ranges on offer such as recyclable bamboo pots and taupe pots.

Ingenious ways of growing

It seems that table planters will be making their way in to our gardens in 2019, and that is only good news for those who love to grow salads on their balcony or terrace. They have their own take-on-take-off covers, something which you could benefit from if you experience birds and bugs damaging your greenery.

Eco-friendly

As touched upon earlier with the recyclable plants, we seem to be seeing a lot more eco-friendly gardening tools and products. Aside from the pots, there are several new peat-free composts, glyphosate-free weed killers and solar lighting which can be controlled from your smart phone.

Mone Bros are a leading supplier of landscaping products, recycling services and building materials to the UK construction industry.
