Alwoodley and Meanwood have already opted to install attractive large, carved pieces of Bramley Fall stone, sourced from Blackhill Quarry in Bramhope, on their village boundaries.

Mone Bros stone carver Ben Whitehead has been hard at work creating many more bespoke signs for buildings and businesses across the city.

Blackhill Quarry Manager Craig Morrell commented: “We have worked closely with Meanwood Valley Partnership and Alwoodley Parish Council to create real milestones for their areas.

“The results are very classy, eye catching landmarks that are being very well received by other parts of Leeds keen to develop their own identity,” added Craig.
